New Cinema, Arts and Cultural Centre in the Thorowgoods Building

Really Local Group is a family of really local venues, bringing culture and entertainment to really local communities and are excited to be launching at the The Blue in 2023 with a new cultural destination and community venue for Bermondsey and beyond and are keen to hear from you.

Over the past couple of years, Really Local Group have been working side by side with Blue Bermondsey BID and Southwark Council to understand what kind of activities, programming, and films local people would like to see in the space. Local input has been essential in helping shape plans this far and now the next phase of the project is underway we are keen to hear about what makes Bermondsey tick, why its a great place to live, and any bright ideas about how we could best work in collaboration with the community to make sure this space is well embedded in the area from the get-go.
