Low Line Project Wins Prestigious Award
Blue Bermondsey is one of the partners in developing the Low Line, a new walking destination for London along the length of the mighty Victorian rail viaducts from Bankside to South Bermondsey.
Alongside Team London Bridge and Better Bankside BIDs, we were awarded £1m of funding from the Mayor of London to develope the Low Line concept with support from The Arch Company, Southwark Council and Borough Market. One of our key projects; Low Line Commons has won a prestigious New London Architecture Award.
The Low Line initiative has the long term goal of linking hubs of creativity, entertainment, and industry and shaping places of interest along it’s course to unlock potential and create greater prosperity for the surrounding local communities.
