All Blue Bermondsey levy paying Businesses are invited to attend the 2021 Annual General Meeting.

The past eighteen months have been an unprecedented time for all businesses and we would like to invite you to the 2021 AGM to hear from you directly on how we can better suit your needs in ensuring that you get value for your levy contribution.
Following a successful reballot in July 2019, our second term began on October 1st 2019, with our proposal built around four key areas of operation. With the onset of the pandemic, we adapted to the uncertainty and delivered appropriately. As we move forward into a new way of working for all of us, the 2021 AGM represents a prime opportunity to comment, give input to help shape our objectives for the future and create a programme of services that continue to bring benefits to local business and improve the area.
Recent months have seen the completion of the Made In Bermondsey regeneration works to marketplace, which was led by Blue Bermondsey after a successful funding application to the GLA. The marketplace has been overhauled with the aim of giving it more the character of a town centre, improving infrastructure and connections with a new ‘village green’ area that provides a place where people can sit and relax or hold community events. Hand-embossed tin tiles clad the new clock tower, inspired by the history of Bermondsey – the first place in the world to produce tin cans.
We now have a first class town centre hub that is the catalyst to kickstart new interest and prosperity for the area. Your support has been crucial in making this and so many other positive things happen during the lifetime of Blue Bermondsey BID and we hope you will be able to join us at Bermondsey Social Club to be involved and network with other businesses.
The AGM also provides the opportunity for you to join the company, in effect your levy contribution qualifies you as a member, but formally joining the company allows you to vote at the AGM, become a director, board member, or lead one of our project groups.
