Blue Bermondsey BID Renewal Ballot 2023
We are asking our eligible businesses to vote yes to our proposals for a third term at the renewal ballot which runs from 30th October until 5pm on 23rd November 2023. .
If you are a levy paying business your levy contribution and support are the backbone of all we do and this website, its content and all of our operations have been made possible by you. Without a majority yes vote, we will not be able to continue doing what we do.
Only a yes vote to our proposals for a third term serving your businesses will ensure we can carry on working for you and continue strengthening the relationships and partnerships that we have built across two terms of operation. Working together we have brought so many positive enhancements to the area, through a wide range of projects, events and activities.
Our proposals have been sent to all eligible businesses by post, however you can read these online if preferred, by clicking the button below.
HOW TO VOTE
- The ballot will be conducted by Southwark Council’s Electoral Services team to ensure a free and fair ballot and the voting period will run for 25 days from Monday 30th October, closing at 5pm on Thursday 23rd November 2023.
- If you are a business or organisation within the BID area, occupying premises with a rateable value of £7,500 or greater you will have received your ballot paper(s) by post.
- Simply complete the ballot paper and return it by post in the pre-paid envelope asap.
If you did not receive your ballot paper, please email our Blue Bermondsey BID manager russell@bluebermondsey.co.uk and he will arrange for duplicate to be sent to you.
Blue Bermondsey Business Improvement Districts (BID) received a majority yes vote at our first ballot in 2014 and followed this up with another majority yes vote at renewal ballot in 2019.
By voting yes in the renewal ballot, you can ensure it is three in a row and we continue providing beneficial services to your business, and are able to build on the accomplishments to date and deliver on our overarching long term vision to bring more economic opportunities, future prosperity and tangible improvements to the Blue.
